Conquest gives Allseas a lift
May 2 - Conquest Offshore was contracted by Allseas Group to replace the pipelaying vessel Allseas Solitaire's 300-tonne capacity crane with a new 850-tonne capacity Huisman crane at the Dutch Offshore Base in Amsterdam.

March 31 - Heerema Offshore Services has signed a letter of intent (LOI) to build what it says is the world's largest new semi-submersible crane vessel (NSCV), equipped with two cranes capable of lifting 10,000 tonnes each.

Update on Jumbo Kinetic
February 17 - A spokesman for Jumbo has confirmed reports first posted on the company's Facebook page - www.facebook.com/jumbomaritime - that the cranes for its first K-Class ship, Jumbo Kinetic, were fitted at the end of January at a shipyard in China.
