The state of Georgia has temporarily suspended federal limits on hours of service for commercial vehicle operators and loosened weight restrictions for trucks following the declaration of a Covid-19 state of emergency.
Georgia’s governor Brian Kemp suspended the enforcement of the limits. Reports indicate that the adjusted trucking rules will remain in effect for the next 30 days, or until the state of emergency is lifted.
