Bolloré Transport & Logistics has delivered a 64-tonne transformer from Benin to Niger for the construction of a thermal power plant.

The cargo had to be moved 1,650 km from Cotonou to Zinder. It had arrived in Cotonou onboard a ro-ro vessel and then driven to the job site with police escort.

From the country of origin to the destination, the various Bolloré Logistics agencies handled the Customs clearance operations.

“This new operation from the port of Cotonou to Zinder, carried out by our teams in particularly difficult conditions due to the practicability of some road section, demonstrates once again the professionalism and capacity of the Bolloré Transport & Logistics teams to handle any logistics operation,” said Pierre Ngon, general manager of Bolloré Transport & Logistics Benin.
