Project freight forwarder DAKO Worldwide Transport has supported a Colombian power plant project on behalf of its longtime partner Dacotrans de Latinoamerica Colombia.
DAKO was responsible for the vessel chartering, loading survey, and freight on board (FOB) delivery. The shipment comprised one engine, which weighed 291 tonnes and measured 14.24 m x 4.26 m x 6.32 m, a 75-tonne generator, 92 shipper-owned containers (SOCs), and accessories.
All items were loaded onto Intermarine’s general cargo ship Industrial Destiny, with the shipment bound for Cartegena, Colombia.
At the beginning of this month, HLPFI reported that DAKO had delivered oversized brewery equipment from Germany and China, to be used towards a plant expansion in Paraguay.
