Laso Transportes is handling 251 wind turbine components for the Pinta y Guindalera wind farm in Spain.
The components make up 23 wind towers. Laso began the transport operations towards the end of June and expects to complete the works by August 3.
Components are being transported from Daimiel, Aranda de Duero and Santander in Spain. Laso said that due to the complexity of the transport operations, it has organised pilot vehicles and police escorts for the moves and deployed a team of 70 employees, including drivers, pilots, project managers and engineers.
