Uddevalla Specialtransporter has deployed a Faymonville WingMAX flatbed trailer to transport a 69 m-long wind turbine blade in Sweden.

Faymonville launched the WingMAX – part of the TeleMAX flatbed semi-trailer series – during summer 2020, as HLPFI reported here

Uddevalla Specialtransporter utilised the trailer to move a blade along winding roads through forests in the municipality of Piteå, Sweden.

Available as a three or four-axle model, key features of the trailer include a large gooseneck stroke and a long loading platform with four-fold extension. The hydraulically operated gooseneck raises itself up to 1.7 m, and the pendle axle technology allows for steering angles up to 60 degrees.
