March 19 - Globalink has delivered two over-dimensional transformers from Turkey to North Buzachi, Kazakhstan, in a project crossing three countries and the Caspian Sea.

Globalink's Road Transport division ensured that all prior arrangements for shifting the oversize cargo - including suitable permits and equipment - were prepared well in advance of the project start date.

The two electrical transformers were loaded and lashed onto low bed trucks and trucked from Turkey to Georgia. Upon arrival at the Georgian border, Globalink Georgia coordinated all the necessary Customs procedures.

From Georgia the transformers made their way to Baku, Azerbaijan. The Globalink Baku division loaded the heavy cargoes on board a waiting ship for onward delivery to Aktau port, Kazakhstan, across the Caspian Sea.

Upon arrival in Kazakhstan, Globalink's Aktau team handled the final leg of the journey - using its own low bed trailers to move the load to the final project site, safely and ahead of schedule.

Globalink is a multimodal transportation specialist delivering cargo throughout the CIS, Middle East, Europe and Asia.
