According to the manufacturer Eiffage Smulders, the 3,500-tonne topside arrived at its current location at Leonarduskade in the port of Ijmuiden onboard a pontoon. It will be stationed there until Orion has completed its current operations in British waters.

The topside will then be transported 18.5 km off the coast of Egmond aan Zee to the substation. Here, Orion will lift the 47 m-long, 25-m tall structure off the pontoon and onto the jacket, which has been anchored to the seabed since November 2021.
