ABC names Arslanova executive president

February 8 - Tatyana Arslanova has been promoted to the post of executive president of AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC).

Arslanova joined Volga-Dnepr Group in 1995 after achieving a Master's degree in economics. Starting her career as assistant to the sales manager, she later became lead marketing manager for the company. In 2001, Arslanova became leader of Volga-Dnepr's Management Technology Department, and, between 2003 and 2007, she served as director for marketing and strategic business development.

Prior to this latest promotion, she was vice-president, marketing and strategic business development, Volga-Dnepr Group. In October 2008, Tatyana joined the ABC management team with a wide-ranging role covering development of market strategy, product marketing and sales.

As executive president of ABC, Arslanova will be responsible for the implementation of the airline's scheduled cargo operations development strategy and operational management of the business, focusing on improving quality of the ABC organisation and personnel development. In addition, she will retain responsibility for the overall strategy of the Group and for the implementation of marketing in key aspects of route network development, sales infrastructure and developing strategic alliances.
