Boskalis Dockwise takeover update

December 21 - Royal Boskalis Westminster has made a further voluntary all-cash offer of EUR18.5 per share for the issued and outstanding shares in Dutch shipping line, Dockwise.

The new proposal is an increase of EUR50 cents over the December 17 offer made by Boskalis and now values Dockwise at EUR733 million.

Almost 83.5 percent of Dockwise shareholders have already committed to the offer - just over 50 percent of shareholders have signed irrevocable undertakings with Boskalis to sell their shares - in addition to interest that Boskalis already controls.

Dockwise has welcomed the improved offer and will continue its dialogue with Boskalis with the aim of reaching a merger agreement.
