ESTA nominates Klijn successors

October 4 - ESTA has nominated Stijn Sarens and Alexandre-Jacques Vernazza as Ton Klijn's successors, following his appointment as ESTA director earlier this year.

Sarens has been nominated to take over the role of secretary, while Mediaco's Vernazza has been nominated as section cranes vice president, both former roles of Klijn prior to him replacing Søren Jansen in June.

ESTA's board meeting, which took place on September 14, also saw Jens Enggard, ceo of Danish crane and equipment rental company BMS, nominated to take over as ESTA treasurer from Hendrik Sarens, whose term has ended.

The nominations are subject to approval at ESTA's general assembly, which will take place later this month in Krakow, Poland.
