Multi Marine and Conti7 strengthen alliance

August 23 - Belgium's Conti7 shipping group and Italy's Multi Marine Services (MMS) have strengthened their short sea services partnership through a new joint operation, Conti Carwil Line, combining the respective services of Conti Med Line and Carwil Lin

The services of the new partnership will cover the Baltic region, Scandinavia, Northern Europe, the Mediterranean and the Black Sea to North Africa.

The Genoese agency has represented the Antwerp-based shipping group since July 2015, handling its parcel services for steel and bulk cargoes from the Mediterranean, Northern Europe (Antwerp in particular) and the Black Sea, to West and East Africa and South and Central America.

MMS has six branches in Italy (in Genoa, Savona, Porto Nogaro, Livorno, Monfalcone and Naples) and foreign investments in Portugal, Spain and Morocco.
