OCTRA expanding in Montoir

May 10 - The Montoir de Bretagne (St Nazaire) division of French transport engineering and project forwarding company OCTRA will undertake commercial and operational representation for two of the largest heavy transport and rigging operators in France.

SCALES and DUFOUR's appointment of OCTRA's marine renewable energy and projects division will allow the branch office to offer integrated heavy lift project management, as well as equipment such as SPMTs, skidding systems and gantries, said the company.

This agreement is for the French coastline from La Rochelle to Cherbourg and will mainly cover heavy lift transport and rigging activities related to offshore sustainable energy, port logistics and marine construction.

The agreement comes after the recent appointment of David Kerbrat as new branch manager for the division. He joins OCTRA from Mammoet France.
