Portland picks O'Hollaren

March 28 - Ken O'Hollaren has been appointed as marine marketing director at the Port of Portland, USA.

O'Hollaren, who has over 25 years of experience in the maritime industry, previously served as the executive director of the Port of Longview and the Port of Port Angeles, USA, and is a past chairman of the American Association of Port Authorities.
 
"We are excited to have Ken's ideas and expertise as we look to grow our strong position as an auto and bulk gateway," said Keith Leavitt, the port's chief commercial officer.
 
The port handled over 10 million tons (9.07 million tonnes) of cargo in 2016, including grain, bulk and breakbulk products.
