Vallur joins GAC

February 22 - GAC has appointed Madhu Vallur as the group vendor manager for its oil and gas division.

Based at the corporate headquarters in Jebel Ali, Vallur will oversee third party suppliers and agents GAC works with. He is responsible for vetting the appointment of freight forwarders, air and ocean charter brokers, specialist equipment suppliers and oil and gas procurement experts.

He is also charged with ensuring that all appointed companies meet GAC's standards and overseeing procurement and supply chains.

Before joining GAC, Vallur served as global supply chain director for geoscience company CGG.
