Aaras completes power project

December 17 - Global Project Logistics Network (GPLN) member representing Pakistan, Aaras Shipping Agencies, recently handled complex power project cargoes at Karachi Port.

The vessel HAN ZHI arrived at the Pakistani gateway from Shanghai, China carrying power project modules and general cargoes - the entire consignment was made up of 244 packages and had a total weight of 1,722 tonnes.
 
Aaras Shipping Agencies provided stevedoring, heavy lifting, Customs clearance and onward transportation services for the various cargoes, which included 150-tonne transformer units, 25-tonne oil tanks and 60-tonne turbines.
 
The heavy cargoes were safely stacked in Karachi port before being loaded onto trailers and transportation units for oncarriage to their final destination.
