March 23 - Beluga Projects Logistic has transported seven power transformers, with a maximum unit weight up to 120 tons (108.8 tonnes), from Tyumen, Russia to three different oilfield power supply stations for RN-Uvatneftegaz.

The power transformers were transported along icy roads with limited capacity and limited axle loads, as well as over bridges across the icy rivers of Turtas, Demyanka and Urna. The gardient on route reached 17 degrees in places.  For transportation Beluga Project Logistics utilised a Volvo 6 x 6 tractor with Scheuerle and Faymonville modular trailers.

Loading and unloading was carried out using Enerpac's hydraulic portal system, SBL 1100. This enabled the installation of the transformers and a reactor without using heavy-duty truck cranes and additional rigging and assembly works.

All the services were carried out at temperatures which fell to - 27°C.

Beluga Projects Logistics is a member of the Cargo Equipment Experts (CEE) network in Russia.
