HighwayTrailer MES makes US debut

April 2 - Scheuerle - a member of the TII Group - has introduced a new heavy-duty trailer into the North American market - the HighwayTrailer MES (Modular Extra Strong).

"The Scheuerle HighwayTrailer MES allows a configuration as a semi-trailer for all kinds of everyday loads as well as an assembly with two platform trailers for an extremely long load like a splitter column, vessels or a large girder weighing up to 115 tonnes," explained Roland Fischer, area manager sales at TII Sales.

Scheuerle claims the HighwayTrailer MES merges the requirements for transporting oversize and concentrated loads into one vehicle, enabling users to perform a wide range of jobs with just one modular trailer.  Fischer adds that the HighwayTrailer MES comes equipped with hydraulic axles, precise steering systems, and lift/lower functions to pick up loads.
