After much consideration and monitoring of the Covid-19 situation across the globe, HLPFI has come to the decision to host the Heavy Lift Awards 2020 in a new virtual capacity rather than a live event this year.

Of course, HLPFI is upset to not be able to celebrate the achievements of the finalists on the red carpet in London, but is confident that the virtual offering retains the integrity and prestige of the awards, while also putting the health and safety of the stakeholders first.

HLPFI is committed to rewarding, recognising and celebrating excellence in the project cargo supply chain, from the companies that have executed complex transport operations and implemented safe and environmentally friendly working practices, to the people that have dedicated a lifetime of leadership and innovation to the sector.

The Heavy Lift Awards 2020 will run from October 5-21 with 13 days dedicated to the award categories. HLPFI will be revealing more about each of the finalists and some other exciting additions to the programme throughout the summer.

Alongside the main categories, which are being judged by an independent panel, HLPFI is launching a series of reader’s vote awards in the coming weeks.

HLPFI would like to thank the sponsors - AAL, Blue Water Shipping, deugro group, FESCO Projects, Goldhofer, RTL, Sarens, Trans Global Projects Group and Wallenius Wilhelmsen Ocean - for their continued support of the Heavy Lift Awards 2020. Without it, HLPFI would not be able to continue to reward excellence in this fascinating industry.

Please register your interest and keep an eye on the HLPFI website to find out more about the Heavy Lift Awards 2020 and ensure you keep up to date with the exciting announcements.
