Associated British Ports (ABP) has appointed Lex Hanham to its business development team, where she will spearhead projects to accelerate the UK’s clean energy transition.
Hanham, a commercial and property expert, has more than 15 years of experience at the organisation having joined as a graduate management trainee. Prior to that, she was a development officer at the Royal Yachting Association and a yacht broker at Portway Yacht Sales.
One of ABP’s main sustainability strategies is its ‘Ready for Tomorrow’ plan, which includes an investment of up to GBP2 billion (USD2.5 billion) in decarbonising its own operations by 2040 as well as enabling the wider UK energy transition through large-scale clean energy infrastructure projects.
