UK-based AIS Vanguard has invested in a permanent location in London, as it strengthens its presence in the south of England.

The 250 sq ft (23.2 sq m) office and 400 sq ft (37.2 sq m) specialist storage units are based at Eastern Business Park in Heathrow. The location will enable AIS Vanguard to cover more projects within the region, as well as invest in new equipment to be stored at the Southeast base.

Steve Peggs, branch manager, said: “The London branch will offer machinery removals, machine installation, heavy lifting and contract lifting across Greater London, the Thames Valley and the Southeast. Our expert team and lifting equipment provide specialist lifting services throughout the Southeast, including the M25 corridor, across locations such as Milton Keynes, Brighton, Oxford, Reading and Slough.”

He added: “AIS Vanguard has always been a nationwide business but over recent years, the amount of projects we’ve delivered in the south has continued to increase – particularly within the aerospace and aviation sectors.”

Joining Peggs at the London location are Stuart Rex and Pete Wickens, contract managers, and administrations and operations supervisor, Caroline Lloyd. AIS Vanguard said it also undertaking a recruitment drive and welcoming applications for several positions including contracts manager, site supervisors and riggers.
