2K Shipping opens in Hamburg as demand stays strong

2K Shipping is opening an office in Hamburg, Germany, as the Turkish multipurpose operator builds on steady demand for its project cargo services. With an active pipeline of energy, infrastructure and industrial investment, the company is looking forward to a “constructive” year ahead.

Speaking with HLPFI for the January/February 2026 edition of the magazine, Kerem Erkan, member of the board at 2K Shipping, was optimistic about the company’s growth and outlook, buoyed by its inclusion in Toepfer Transport’s ranking of top 20 multipurpose operators in its October 2025 Multipurpose Shipping Report. “With a market share of 0.81 percent – and as the only company from Türkiye included in the ranking – [this] clearly reflects the scale and depth of expertise we have built within the project cargo segment,” he said.
