Hong Kong-based air cargo management group Aero Africa has made key appointments in China and Southern Africa.

Joey Xu will join Aero Africa Asia in the newly created role of director airfreight Asia. Xu will be responsible for the overall airfreight development of the group in Asia with a focus on procurement with carriers and optimising the company’s scheduled airfreight consolidations from Asia to Africa. She will also assist the business development team to promote the group’s African solutions to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) freight forwarding and aviation community. 

Aero Africa Southern Africa has appointed of Gary Tobias as regional operations manager. Tobias will be responsible for the regional airfreight import and cross-border operations of Aero Africa.
