Following AqualisBraemar’s acquisition of LOC Group in December 2020, the two groups have completed the integration process ahead of schedule.

The companies will now begin operations as AqualisBraemar LOC, providing clients in the oil and gas industry with expertise in upstream, midstream, onshore projects, and refining and petrochemical sectors.

AqualisBraemar LOC said the integration means its clients will benefit from a broader service offering and higher operational support capacity in more locations.

David Wells, ceo of AqualisBraemar LOC, explained: “For our clients in the oil and gas industry, this successful integration means one plus one equals three. We are now able to offer clients a much more complete and efficient service offering through a broader competence base and increased capacity worldwide.”

In total, AqualisBraemar LOC now has over 800 technical staff and specialist consultants in 303 locations worldwide, including 60 offices across 38 countries.

Within the oil and gas industry, the company operates through three brands: warranty and marine engineering consultancy AqualisBraemar LOC; the independent engineering and design provider Longitude; geotechnical, geophysical and geological engineering specialist East Point Geo; and JLA, a marine survey and risk consultant specialising in mobile offshore drilling units (MODU).
