Bolloré Logistics has acquired a majority stake in Sweden’s Global Freight Solutions and its Finnish affiliate.
As a result of the acquisition, Bolloré Logistics has expanded its network and reinforces the company’s presence in Europe, especially in the Nordic markets.
Henri Le Gouis, ceo Europe for Bolloré Logistics, said that the two companies had already begun working together as the deal neared completion. “This already delivered many commercial opportunities and we are delighted now to formalise our shared future, such as coupling up with the company’s industrial projects division, and to offer Swedish exporters new logistics solutions boosting their performances into the African, Middle East and Asian markets.”
Bolloré added that the acquisition was a strategic target to complement its regional network. The company previously established a structure in Norway, which was subsequently joined by a similar investment in Denmark.
