Rotterdam-headquartered Hanseatic Global Terminals has appointed Benoît Klein as managing director for Compagnie Nouvelle de Manutentions Portuaires (CNMP) Le Havre, France, effective September 1, 2025.

Klein, who replaces Arnaud Hourdin in the role, has over 29 years of experience in the terminals and shipping industry, having held key roles at companies such as CMA Terminals, Louis Dreyfus and DP World. He is currently serving as vice president port logistics, Southeast Asia for the latter.

“His strategic mindset and operational expertise will be instrumental in driving our next phase of growth at CNMP Le Havre,” said Dheeraj Bhatia, ceo Hanseatic Global Terminals.

Hanseatic Global Terminals acquired a 60 percent majority stake in CNMP Le Havre in March 2025, with the company looking to develop the terminal further.

Earlier this month, HLPFI reported that Hanseatic Global Terminals had launched a Latin American arm – the brand’s first-ever regional expansion.
