The appointment, via Dhanoni Advisory, will help the port of Rotterdam develop stronger and more meaningful partnerships in those countries.

Bora is an experienced global supply chain professional having worked in major multinational firms like Siemens, Philips, and Diageo in progressively senior positions. Prior to his current position he served as the chief representative and trade and investment commissioner of the Netherlands Business Support Offices (NBSO) in India.

He is tasked with supporting the Port of Rotterdam Authority and its stakeholders in Rotterdam, India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in establishing equitable supply chains for cargo and bulk as well as new energy molecules, such as hydrogen carriers.

“India is rapidly emerging as a key player in the global hydrogen economy and critical raw materials market, driven by ambitious policy initiatives and strategic investments,” said the Port of Rotterdam Authority.

Last week, HLPFI reported that breakbulk was up at the port of Rotterdam in H1 2025.
