Next week transport logistic Southeast Asia (October 29-31) takes place at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore, and HLPFI is bringing together executives from across the project logistics supply chain to discuss the region’s opportunities and challenges.
In partnership with transport logistic Southeast Asia and Messe München, HLPFI is hosting two dedicated project cargo-focused conference sessions at the event.
The first session, taking place on October 29 at 15:30, will look at Southeast Asia’s energy projects. To align with climate goals, the region must quintuple its clean energy investment to USD190 billion annually by 2035 and at the same time, it is becoming a key exporter of energy infrastructure. The panel – Torbjörn Larisch, ceo of FLS Group; Nikhil Kedar, commercial marketing representative, COSCO Shipping Specialized Carrier SEA; Florian Pinz, managing director, Singapore and Malaysia at Blue Water Shipping; and Janice Cheong, deputy director – Asia, Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) – will explore how the potential headwinds facing the region’s clean energy ambitions and how it can fully realise its energy transition potential.
The second conference session will take place on October 30 at 13:25 and brings together Christopher Schneiders, global director, projects at FLS Group and Mike Schoofs, senior vice president – global head of project logistics, business development at Kuehne + Nagel (K+N), to focus on the region’s hotspots, notably Vietnam, Indonesia and the Philippines.
