Cargo floods in for Aaras

November 24 - Aaras Project and Logistics Pakistan was appointed the shipping agent for the multipurpose vessel Han Zhi, which arrived at the Port of Karachi carrying 179 units of project cargo.

Aaras handled the discharge of the total consignment, which included heavy and long items of equipment, and weighed 2,311 tonnes with a volume of 7,176 cu m.

As well as discharging and transporting the cargoes from the berth to the port's storage area, and completing Customs formalities, Aaras also handled the 1,460 km inland transportation of the equipment to the jobsite.

Aaras Project and Logistics is a member of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) for Pakistan.
