Leah (Martinez) Cook has joined Port Houston as director of marketing and branding.
In her role, Cook will be responsible for all activities related to conceptualising, implementing and executing Port Houston’s market strategy.
Cook most recently served as director of marketing, public relations and communications at Intermarine. Among her various responsibilities she successfully executed two rebrands and served on Intermarine’s global senior leadership team, which was responsible for shaping the overall direction of the company.
Cook is a graduate of Texas A&M University where she earned a BSc in agricultural communications and journalism, before securing a master’s degree in agribusiness. She serves as a board member of the Maritime Workers Relief Fund and is a volunteer at Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart.
