dship Americas has appointed Stephen Garifalos as director of sales in North America, and Kevin Turner as the regional head of chartering, North America.
Garifalos has over 40 years of experience and is well-known in the breakbulk and project cargo industry, having led logistics teams as a carrier, exporter, importer, ship agent, and freight forwarder. He joins dship from Mediterranean Shipping Company USA, where he served as national sales director, out-of-gauge and specialised cargo.
Turner, meanwhile, has worked in the shipping sector for over two decades across bulk trades as well as heavy lift project chartering. According to dship, he has an excellent understanding of the US and South American markets.
