Logistics and transportation solutions provider Egytrans has appointed Maged Shawky as its chairman.
With over three decades of experience in the industry, Shawky brings a wealth of knowledge to the organisation.
Egytrans said that his organisational capabilities and strategic thought leadership will play a key role in supporting the company through its next phase of expansion.
Last year saw the company acquire 99.9 percent of National Transport and Overseas Services Company (NOSCO) through a share swap deal, leading to the formation of Egytrans NOSCO.
Towards the end of 2023, the company then partnered with Saudi-based investment firm Links Investment to establish a limited liability company in Saudi Arabia.
