Private equity firm Core Industrial Partners has taken a stake in USA-based Edwards Moving and Rigging.
Core specialises in manufacturing, industrial technology and industrial services investments and it recently backed Edwards Moving and Rigging, a provider of heavy hauling and rigging services and specialising in oversize cargoes. Headquartered in Shelbyville, Kentucky, Edwards operates from five facilities in Kentucky, South Carolina, Florida, Ohio and Illinois.
Mark Edwards, chairman of Edwards Moving and Rigging, said: “For more than 60 years, we have built a track record of safety and excellence in project execution for our customers. Our team has done a tremendous job building Edwards into a unique player in the market and we look forward to partnering with Core for the next chapter of the business.”
