Vestas Wind Systems has awarded Fred. Olsen Windcarrier the turbine installation contract for the Baltic Eagle offshore wind farm in Germany.
Fred. Olsen Windcarrier will transport and install 50 Vestas wind turbines for the project, with the installation works slated to commence in 2024.
The jack-up installation vessel Blue Tern will execute the contract.
