GAC Group has opened an office in the Republic of Ireland that will provide shipping services to vessels calling at the country’s ports.

GAC Ireland will provide ship agency services at all major Irish ports for customers operating in the tanker, dry cargo, offshore and navy sectors.
The entity will be based in Cobh. The group has plans for further expansion in both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, with branches planned in Cork, Dublin and Belfast.
Aidan Carney, GAC Ireland manager, said: “Adding an Irish office is strategic in GAC’s growth… It builds on our already strong customer base and significantly enhances our extensive portfolio of service offerings.”
