Strata Transport’s Marcus Gough has stepped down as chair of the Heavy Transport Association (HTA).
Gough initially came into the role in December 2020, during which time he was head of transport at Ainscough. During his time as chair, Gough’s leadership has guided HTA’s progress, with the association having strengthened its voice with government and regulators, expanded its membership, and introduced new initiatives to support safety, compliance, and collaboration across the heavy transport sector. He will continue to be involved with HTA.
Chris Britton, head of operations support at Ainscough, has stepped into the role of chair and will hold this position until the next annual general meeting (AGM), when members will come together to elect a new chair.
