Project freight forwarder Trans Global Projects (TGP) has appointed Peter Fritschi as its group chief operating officer, succeeding Marc Cowie who is taking on a new role as ceo North America.
Fritschi previously served as director of projects at Natco Switzerland, part of TGP. He will be based in Zürich and will focus on alignment, project delivery, and collaboration across all group subsidiaries.
Cowie, meanwhile, will be responsible for driving growth and development in the US market. TGP said that it will be expanding its team there with additional senior appointments in the coming weeks.
TGP group ceo, Colin Charnock, said: “This leadership transition marks an exciting chapter for TGP. With Peter leading global operations and Marc focusing on North America, we are well-positioned for sustainable growth and innovation. Expanding our senior team in the US demonstrates our dedication to this key market and to delivering value for our clients and partners worldwide.”
Last month, TGP delivered transformers from Brazil to Canada and handled the delivery of wind turbines from China to Vietnam in two separate projects.
