Liebherr USA has named Shane Kuhlmey as divisional director of crawler cranes, deep foundation machines and maritime cranes.
Kuhlmey transitions into this role following a successful stint as head of Liebherr USA’s mining division.
Kai Friedrich, managing director of Liebherr USA, said: “Kuhlmey’s transition to this new sector is a testament to Liebherr’s commitment to diversifying our expertise and strengthening our position in the North American market.”
Elsewhere, Liebherr Components (Dalian) has inaugurated its production facility on a total area of approximately 44,000 sq m, where it will manufacture gearboxes, slewing bearings and hydraulic cylinders.
The facility represents an investment of EUR110 million (USD117 million) in the region.
