Trans Global Projects (TGP) has appointed Lim Ling Ling as managing director Malaysia after the project forwarding firm opened an office in the Southeast Asian country.
Ling Ling comes to TGP with more than three decades in the project logistics industry, having spent upwards of 30 years as general manager – sales and business development at Megalift, also in Malaysia.
“Opening an office in Malaysia is a logical step for TGP as we continue to grow our global network. This new office will enable us to even better serve our clients in the Asia-Pacific region,” said Colin Charnock, group ceo of TGP. “We are excited about the opportunities this expansion brings and look forward to the positive impact it will have on our business.”
The office – which is in Sham Alam, the capital city of Selangor – will act as a central hub for TGP’s operations in the region, supporting both its local and global clients and partners.
“This is an exciting time for TGP, and I am eager to contribute to the company’s success by leveraging my experience and expertise. I look forward to working with the talented team at TGP and driving our operations in Malaysia to new heights,” commented Ling Ling.
Last week, HLPFI reported that Michael Andrews had returned to TGP as business development director.
