September 19 - Australia's McAleese Group, which operates a heavy haulage and lifting business, has entered into voluntary administration.
HLPFI reported in March that the Australian transport provider had suspended trading in its shares and deferred the release of its 2015 financial results, as it considered recapitalisation plans.
On August 29, four McGrathNicol partners were appointed voluntary administrators of McAleese, following the company's failure to resolve disputes with shareholders.
International media reports suggest that major shareholder and co-founder of McAleese, Mark Rowsthorn, could now be forced to step down from the company.
Creditors have also allegedly been told that a number of companies are circling the assets of the troubled transport provider.
