Noatum Logistics, a part of AD Ports Group’s logistics cluster, has made several senior appointments as well as changes at a regional level.

Having appointed Jochen Thewes as ceo of its logistics cluster in November 2025, Noatum Logistics has now named Thorsten Meincke as executive vice president – ocean and air freight. He brings more than two decades of international leadership experience, having previously worked for the likes of DB Schenker and Kuehne + Nagel (K+N).

Björn Eckbauer, senior vice president of global air freight development and procurement, and Boris Kuehn, senior vice president of mergers and acquisitions, have been brought in alongside Meincke. Eckbauer most recently worked for at DB Schenker and brings over 30 years of expertise in air freight operations. Kuehn joinsthe company from Deutsche Bahn.

Supporting AD Ports Group’s global leadership team are Thorsten Pook as managing director – Middle East region, Samad Osman as managing director – Africa region, and Roberto Moreno, as managing director – Latin America region.

“By bringing in leaders from the top tier of our industry, we’re strengthening our capabilities and positioning ourselves to become a leading global logistics provider,” said Thewes.

HLPFI reported earlier this month that Noatum Logistics had expanded its Tianjin, China office.
