Richard Turner, European director of global risk solutions at RSA Insurance, has been elected as the new president of the International Union of Marine Insurance (IUMI), taking over from Dieter Berg who has completed his four-year term of office.

Turner was formally nominated by the IUMI council in August, as HLPFI reported here.

Turner, who was elected at IUMI’s annual conference in Cape Town, served on the executive committee between 2011 and 2015 and, before that, was a member of the nominating committee.
