Bertling Logistics has appointed Steve Walter as general manager for its Houston office.
Walter has 23 years of experience in the freight industry covering commercial, operational and managerial roles. He has worked for both large multinationals and specialist operators. Most recently, Walter headed the business development team at Ceva Logistics.
Bertling said that Walter will enhance the company’s business activities in North America and beyond; he will be responsible for the Houston team and tasked with growing the business and market coverage in the region. Walter will also play a key role in identifying new business areas in North America.
