July 26 - Germany's Seehafen Wismar GmbH has taken delivery of a Sennebogen 870 M harbour crane from LST Bau- und Industriemaschinen GmbH, Sennebogen's local sales partner.
The machine is part of a multi-year rental contract and supplements the existing two 850 M machines and an 840 M.
It has a reach of 24 m and its maXcab can elevated 3.0 m and moved forward 2.6 m, offering significant advantages when unloading ships. In this configuration together with the 0.75 m mast, the new 870 M provides an good overview of the work area and an excellent view into the hull of the ship, says Sennebogen.
Michael Kremp, ceo of Seehafen Wismar GmbH said: "We have profited from our longstanding collaboration with Sennebogen, and again we decided on a machine that perfectly meets our requirements. As a modern seaport we always want to be equipped with the latest technology to satisfy customer requirements."
