Project specialist WR Logistics has appointed Yang Jung Min as head of Asia and regional director, with immediate effect.
Based in Seoul, Yang will lead WR Logisitcs’ operations in South Korea and across Asia, directing project delivery, customer engagement, and market development throughout the region. He will focus on strengthening the company’s position in key sectors such as oil and gas, energy, manufacturing, and engineering, while building deeper ties with clients worldwide.
“Asia is central to global project logistics, and I am pleased to be joining WR Logistics at this pivotal stage of its growth,” said Yang. “My focus will be on ensuring reliable outcomes for clients and positioning Korea and Asia as key drivers of WR Logistics’ global network.”
Yang boasts over 20 years of senior experience in global project logistics, including leadership roles at CJ Logistics and Interfreight Engineering, having managed large-scale international projects for major global EPC firms. Yang’s expertise spans heavy lift, project forwarding, transport engineering, and certification driven compliance.
“We look forward to building further momentum under his guidance,” added Wadim Rosenstein, chairman of WR Group.
As part of WR Logistics’ expansion, the company has opened a new office in Japan, which it hopes will enable faster, more efficient support and the ability to develop long-term partnerships in the Japanese markets.
