USA-based Link-Belt Cranes has launched a 120-ton (110-tonne) lifting capacity hydraulic truck crane.

Link Belt new crane

The four-axle crane will make its debut at Link-Belt Cranes’ customer event CraneFest in Kentucky later this year.

The crane features all-new air ride suspension, as well as air disc brakes that will improve performance and reduce maintenance time, Link-Belt said.

In addition, the reduced gross weight of the vehicle means the crane now offers 22.3 tonnes of counterweight payload.

The crane also features the company’s one-person fly erection technology SmartFly, along with a wireless rigging remote to control the outriggers, outrigger beams and jacks, boom hoist, and winches. This makes setup quicker and easier with increased efficiency, said the manufacturer.

Production models will be shipped to customers in the fourth quarter of 2021.
