Spain-headquartered crane and heavy haulage contractor Roxu Group has taken delivery of a Liebherr LTM 1110-5.1 mobile crane.

The 110-tonne capacity crane has a 60 m-long telescopic boom. It can be driven with a maximum axle load of 10 tonnes, which Liebherr said is beneficial when obtaining licences and route permits. With its maximum ballast of 29 tonnes, its axle load remains below 16 tonnes.

José Manuel Garcia, president of Roxu said that the crane’s “combination of mobility, lifting, capacity and boom length is perfect. These features are extremely important decision making criteria for our company”.

Roxu – which already has 100 Liebherr mobile and crawler cranes in its fleet – will gradually replace its other five-axle cranes with the LTM 1110-5.1.
