The first train modules of the Arctic LNG 2 project have departed Wison Offshore & Marine’s Zhoushan yard in China.
Weighing nearly 50,000 tons (45,359.3 tonnes), the Wison-manufactured modules were loaded onboard GPO Heavylift’s semi-submersible vessel GPO Grace.
Wison said: “After nearly 600 days of effort, our project team successfully achieved several excellent milestones, including 20 million man-hours each without lost time injury (LTI), and finally delivered this project.”
