June 5 - Effective july 1, 2014, Robert Sappio, who has been heading Rickmers-Linie (America) Inc since September 2012, will step down from the position of president and ceo but remain connected to the company as a member of the Board of Rickmers-Linie (A
Sappio's replacement will be Waldemar (Val) Poulsen. Before joining Rickmers-Linie, Poulsen was director/country manager with Safmarine in Houston, responsible for the activities of the multi-purpose division of Safmarine in the Americas.
