Blue Water was responsible for conducting a route survey, making the necessary modifications to the route, as well as preparing and carrying out the transport operation.

The width of the cargo posed a challenge for the team; it was the widest transport ever completed along an 8.25 km route at the port. After identifying critical areas, the team determined the modifications required for the transport, including dismantling gates, signs and fences as well as setting up 24/7 guards at various points to maintain the port’s security.

SPMTs were then used to relocate the blade rack at the port, with the entire project completed in nine days.
